Cellacare® Dotop® F/M

Exercise programme with Cellacare® Dotop

Unless otherwise specified, the following applies to all exercises:

  • place feet shoulder width apart
  • elbows and knees should be slightly bent
  • keep wrists straight
  • tense abdomen
  • all fingers except the thumb should be in the loop

After each exercise you should do shoulder circles approximately 5 times to loosen up the shoulders.

Warm-up phase, approx. 2 min

  • march in place
  • move arms arms opposite to legs (diagonally to the front)
  • extend your arms out in front of you until your hands are shoulder height

Exercises with ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Strengthening the scapula fixator muscles

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • palms facing forward, thumbs up
  • extend arms out to the side and then back again
  • 2 series of 15 repetitions each

Exercises with ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Autostabilization exercise

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • arms straight out to the front
  • little movements up and down (left hand up, right hand down and vice versa)
  • 3 series of 20 seconds each

Exercises with ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Strengthening the scapula fixator muscles

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • bend arms (elbows up at shoulder height), palms facing down
  • extend arms straight out in front of you, then bring them back
  • 2 series of 15 repetitions each

Exercises that do not require ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Overall muscle strengthening

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • palms facing up
  • bring your arms together straight out in front of you and then open them out to the side
  • shift weight from one foot to the other
  • 1 series of 15 repetitions

Exercises that do not require ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Overall muscle strengthening

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • bring both arms up and do a deep knee bend whilst keeping your back straight
  • 1 series of 15 repetitions

Exercises that do not require ThoraPlus (thoracic stabilizing support)

Exercise: Overall muscle strengthening

  • long strap setting, crossed in the back
  • arms slightly bent next to your body, palms down
  • simultaneously move both elbows to the back and to the front again
  • shift weight from one foot to the other (kick back heels)
  • 1 series of 15 repetitions
