- Suprasorb C
- Key points
- Collagen dressings, inflammatory cytokines, free radicals
- Summary
- The in vitro study showed that collagen dressings have a high binding capacity for different inflammatory cytokines and they inhibit the formation of free radicals. Therefore these dressings are proposed to reduce chronic inflammation in stagnating wounds. Suprasorb C showed superior results, indicating that the bovine source of the dressing has benefits over other sources.
