Lohmann & Rauscher International has implemented a Quality Management-System in accordance with EN ISO 9001 / EN ISO 13485. As a manufacturer of medical devices, the company is committed to provisions such as Council Directive 93/42/EEC; products in compliance with this Directive can be identified by the CE mark. These legal provisions and requirements as such set rather high standards for quality. Above and beyond these basic framework requirements, however, the corporate group has defined superior performance standards of its own, which have become an essential building block of an active quality assurance system.
On this solid foundation, maximum quality is ensured by a comprehensive set of checks and controls installed throughout the entire production and packaging process. These include the testing and inspection of incoming raw materials, as well as in-process controls along the line, and a final inspection of finished products before they are delivered.
