Compression therapy solutions | L&R treatment pathway

    For lymphatic disorders

Intensive decongestion usually leads to a rapid reduction of oedema and limb volumes. The initial phase is usually conducted with bandaging, which has to be frequently renewed to ensure best possible fit to successive reductions of oedema volume.

The conditioning phase is to consolidate the effects of the intensive decongestion, stabilise and further improve the reduction results and set the stage for maintenance products. The conditioning phase focuses on self-adjustable wraps, which allow patients to take more and more control of their condition. An early switch to wraps supports patient engagement and enables patient selfcare.

Maintaining control of the condition remains a lifetime challenge. Maintenance therapy can be conducted with flat-knit compression stockings or wraps, both easy to integrate in daily life.
