The end of 2014 saw L&R and its Austrian subsidiary celebrate two prizes: the Top Training Company seal of quality from the City of Vienna and designation of the R&D Centre at Schönau a.d. Triesting as Competence Headquarters by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).
The L&R site in Vienna was awarded the Top Training Company seal of quality in recognition of the quality of training provided by the Viennese company. The award was made by the municipal authorities of Vienna, various social partnerships and the Federation of Austrian Industries. It lasts for four years. L&R is currently training 8 apprentices in Vienna in various commercial and IT-related positions.
The L&R Research and Development Department at our Schönau a. d. Triesting facilities was named by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) as a “Competence Headquarters”. This recognition is accompanied by three-year grants from the FFG and the state of Lower Austria, which L&R were awarded for their research into medical technology / negative pressure therapy and their co-operative research projects with other institutions.
