Compression Solutions

The basis for successful healing.

Compression therapy plays a critical role in the management and healing of venous leg ulcers, chronic wounds and lymphatic conditions. Compression therapy improves venous blood flow and reduces oedema, to support the wound healing process.

Under the Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS), eligible patients* can access L&R’s advanced compression therapy solutions, designed to enhance the treatment of chronic wounds and associated conditions.

With L&R’s compression solutions available under the Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS), clinicians and patients have access to innovative, clinically proven products designed to enhance wound care outcomes.

*Eligibility: Prior to prescribing therapeutic compression treatment, patients must undergo a vascular assessment. Patients with compromised arterial flow are contraindicated for therapeutic compression.

Compression bandages are critical for managing oedema and supporting wound healing by improving venous return. L&Rs compression bandaging options below feature short-stretch (non-elastic) properties meaning wearer safety whether on the move or lying down.

  • Rosidal® K (Short-Stretch Non-Cohesive Bandaging) - Provides consistent and effective pressure, ideal for managing oedema and venous conditions with high working pressure and low resting pressure. Made of 100% cotton.
  • Rosidal® SC (Soft Compression Underlayer Padding) - A soft, dual-sided padding layer made of breathable cotton and foam for comfort, protection, and contouring.
  • Rosidal® CC (Short-Stretch Cohesive Compression Bandage) - Is a cohesive compression bandage that provides reliable, low-profile compression with excellent conformability, designed for secure and effective multi-layer compression therapy.
  • Rosidal® TCS (Short-Stretch Two-Component System) - Is a two-layer short-stretch compression system consisting of:
    • Layer 1 (Rosidal SC): A soft, dual-sided padding layer made of breathable cotton and foam for comfort, protection, and contouring.
    • Layer 2 (Rosidal CC): A cohesive compression layer that provides consistent, low-profile compression with excellent conformability.
  • Rosidal® Soft (Soft Compression Underlayer Padding): Is a foam padding bandage designed to protect and cushion sensitive areas during compression therapy, providing comfort and enhancing the effectiveness of compression bandage systems by ensuring even pressure distribution
