Why is an increased stiffness relevant?
Several studies have demonstrated that the stiffness of compression products plays a major role for their haemodynamic efficacy. Stiffer textiles have short stretch properties with low resting and higher working pressure. It is a crucial factor to predict their effectiveness and tolerability for patients. The greater the stiffness of a fabric, the greater its massaging effect during movement.*
