The cohesive conforming bandage with two-way stretch and special expansion behaviour adheres to itself, but not to skin or hair. It is available in different versions for a variety of needs: Mollelast haft, Mollelast haft color and Mollelast haft latex-free.
Mollelast haft stretches lengthwise and widthwise, so there is no creasing and it stays in place easily. Can be applied easily to tapered parts of the body and even stays in place reliably around joints thanks to the excellent adhesion between layers. This product can also be counted on to stay in place during movement: no constriction or slipping.
The good cohesive properties come from a microcoating. The selvedges make application a breeze and prevent fraying. The thin knitted material is very permeable to air and gentle to the skin.
The bandage is used for the fixation of dressing pads, cannulas and splints (such asCellacast Splint) and can provide support, for example in the case of minor sports injuries.
Latex-free fixation
Mollelast haft also is available latex-free, i.e. with a synthetic microcoating (free from natural rubber latex). With the latex-free product, users have as an option a very well-tolerated conforming bandage which has all the tried-and-tested properties of Mollelast haft.
