Effective and gentle wound bed preparation is the foundation for a successful healing process: A clean wound bed is generally essential in order for many modern wound products to be effective. With our Debrisoft products, debridement can be performed quickly, easily and virtually painless. With this first step in targeted wound management, you can create a clean wound bed while preserving intact tissue, thus eliminating these obstacles to optimal wound healing.
Debrisoft Pad – highly effective, virtually painless debridement and rapidly visible results within 2-4 minutes.
It allows removal of debris and exudate from the wound and of skin flakes and keratoses from the surrounding skin.
Even formed granulation tissue and epithelial cells are spared.
The Debrisoft Lolly has been developed for the debridement of deep wounds, hard to reach areas and surgical invasive application. This innovative product from L&R is very easy to use enables highly effective debridement.
Regardless of whether wounds are large or small, we make it possible for our customers to provide wound care tailored to the individual patients and their particular wound situations. Because L&R products offer healthcare professionals a comprehensive range of products for all types of wounds and situations. The L&R range of wound care products includes wound fillers and wound dressings. Our range of primary and secondary dressings are designed to be used together, with the right product for every microbial situation and amount of exudate. This ensures appropriate wound care no matter what the situation.
The use of negative pressure is one of the most innovative approaches to wound care. Over the last few decades this treatment method has become part of routine treatment in hospitals. This type of treatment has now also become routine in outpatient clinics because it can be combined very effectively with established wound treatment methods already being used for modern wound care. An intuitive device and patented solutions on the wound make our Suprasorb CNP therapy outstanding.
Vliwasorb Pro is a superabsorbent dressing for wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate. The very high absorption and retention capacity of Vliwasorb Pro protects wound edges from maceration. Vliwasorb Pro promotes wound healing by maintaining a moist wound environment. The development of odour during the treatment is decreased. Proteases (e.g. MMPs, elastase) are reduced.* Vliwasorb Pro’s ergonomic and flexible design makes it safe and easy to use. The blue clothing protection layer protects clothing and bed linen from contamination.
Suprasorb Liquacel Pro is a soft, conformable non-woven dressing made from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and strengthening cellulose fibres. When it comes into contact with wound exudate or blood the absorbent dressing forms a gel which creates a moist wound environment. Through the lock-in technology, cell debris and any bacteria found in the wound exudate can be retained inside the fibre dressing and removed during the dressing change. The high vertical absorption of exudate into the fibre dressing protects the wound environment and the wound edge, thus supporting the healing process.
Suprasorb P sensitive is a silicone foam dressing especially for sensitive skin1) . Its multilayer construction provides dynamic exudate management for an optimal moist wound environment2) . The silicone wound contact layer minimises the risk of adhesion to the wound and pain for the patient during dressing changes3) . The outer protective film is waterproof and repels bacteria, while also being permeable to water vapour.Suprasorb P sensitive is available in three versions depending on the degree of exudate: “border”, “border lite” and “non-border”.
Compression therapy is the foundation of the successful healing of venous and lymphatic leg disorders (with and without oedema). Generally, compression therapy can be performed with compression wraps, ready-for-use compression bandages and compression stockings. The general differentiation between these systems is found in the fact that they have different resting- and working pressures due to the varying elasticities of the raw materials. As a specialist in compression therapy, L&R has a wide range of compression therapy products offering combinable components for every application. To achieve the desired treatment outcome, bandages are required to be elastic and exert pressure at the same time. The Rosidal® K Short Stretch Bandage offers powerful compression but is also a short stretch textile-elastic bandage. It is used to provide powerful compression of the limbs in phlebology.
