Intended purpose

The monofilament fibre pad is used to absorb exudate, debris and skin keratoses during the debridement of superficial wounds.

Properties

  • the angled fibre tops actively loosen debris and exudate from the wound
  • the fibre composite absorbs and binds the loosend wound coatings and keratoses and removes them
  • newly formed granulation tissue and ingrown epithelial cells are protected

To note

  • product for debridement, does not stay on the wound
  • can be used at every dressing change if needed
  • Debrisoft Pad must not be cut to size

Advice

Very good results can also be achieved with the Debrisoft Pad on hyperkeratotic or necrotic surfaces when they have been previously treated with autolytic debridement.

  • The soft fibre side can be moistened with any standard wound irrigation solution in accordance with national guidelines.
