Opraclean

Opraclean Dressings support wound cleansing by absorbing wound exudate and cell debris. Wound pockets and cavities can be packed with Opraclean. The iodoform-impregnated dressings also have an antiseptic effect.* In a moist milieu iodoform breaks down and continuously releases small amounts of iodine from the dressing. Another advantage: No resistances known.**

* antiseptic effect confirmed for Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, Candida albicans and Aspergillus brasiliensis based on in vitro studies

** based on literature on iodine
