At L&R, responsible water management is an important part of how we make our operations more sustainable.

On the occasion of World Water Day on March 22, L&R are taking a look at the progress in terms of water use reduction across the L&R production sites.
Since the company's baseline year 2019, L&R have already reduced water consumption by 16%. This progress comes from continuously improving various processes: This means: make processes them more resource-efficient, use water more carefully in production and strengthen circular economy approaches wherever possible.

The ambition or goal of L&R is clear: Reduce water consumption by 30% compared to 2019.

World Water Day is a timely reminder that even small improvements in everyday operations can add up to meaningful impact when it comes to protecting one of our most valuable resources: water.
