It can be used for a range of applications, such as to protect the eye after ophthalmological surgery or to apply pharmaceuticals to the eye. With its integrated cotton gauze pad it is very well suited for immobilising the eyelid. The Pro-ophta Eye Dressing K can also be used during non-ophthalmological surgery to protect the eyes. For example, if a patient is prone during surgery or during neurosurgical procedures on the skull, it can be used to protect the eyes from fluid penetration.
