Foreword Thomas Menitz, CEO, COO

Dear Readers,
Sustainable practice is part of our responsibility as a company here at Lohmann & Rauscher. Sustainable practice is not only part of our new corporate strategy, New Horizon – it shapes how we do business, how we manage resources and how we understand the impact we have on people, the environment and society.
This sustainability report sets out clearly where we stand today: where we have made progress in 2025, where we have already achieved our goals – and also where we haven’t yet. Because sustainable development is not a permanent state, but an ongoing process. That’s exactly what we’re working on – through specific action, focused processes, and the ambition to improve one step at a time.
In the reporting year 2025, we made great strides in sustainability with several important steps. We streamlined structures, focused key topics, and improved results in many areas. These include greater progress towards achieving the SDGs, joining the UN Global Compact, as well as several successful initiatives and the strong engagement of our employees.
The report also makes it clear that important work still lies ahead of us in the area of sustainability. This makes it all the more important to continue down our chosen path with clarity, dedication, and consistency.
We would like to thank our dedicated employees and partners who continuously focus on sustainability, making a major contribution to our success.
I hope you enjoy reading the report!
