Suprasorb® X + PHMB Pro

Antimicrobial HydroBalance Wound Dressing

Antimicrobial HydroBalance bio-cellulose wound dressings/packing ropes aid wound healing by donating moisture to and absorbing exudate from lightly to moderately exuding, superficial or deep wounds at risk of infection or infected wounds and inhibition of microbial activity.

Suprasorb X + PHMB Pro reduces the microbial load and protects against its re-establishment.

Broad antimicrobial activity spectrum, also against MRSA and VRE*

*based on in-vitro data

Advantages:

Depending on the wound status, the unique structure of the biocellulose either releases moisture to the wound or absorbs excess exudate.

In vitro, a very rapid and almost complete release of PHMB from the wound dressing was shown after 24 h*

Increase in quality of life due to pain reduction

Wound rehabilitation - supports debridement

(autolytic debridement)

The elastic and stable structure allows it to conform readily to any type or depth of wound, making it particularly suitable for areas of the body which are difficult to dress.

Suprasorb X + PHMB Pro reduces the microbial load and protects against its re-establishment.

*based on in-vitro data
